Doug Fields, Mark Matlock and a team of friends are leading the training and leadership experiences at SLC2012.

The 2012 Student Leadership Conference has two goals; (1) to teach and inspire servant leadership to teenagers, and (2) to challenge student leaders to experience and express God’s purposes for their lives as they make a difference in their home, their school, their church, and within their community.

We are planning several experiences where leaders (and potential leaders) from within your ministry will be enlightened with more than surface, leadership skills, but with a new and deeper understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus who leads in the 21st century.

Through practical ministry exercises, engaging experiences, and general sessions taught by Doug Fields (author of, Help! I’m a Student Leader), teenagers will catch the vision for how they are wired to express God’s purposes and make a difference. They will learn that they’re not the “future of the church”… they are the church of today.

Grab the students in your ministry who are ready for a leadership challenge and let them know of their leadership potential by inviting them to join us for a training that your students will never forget. It will be a GREAT investment of your time and resources.

(The conference will be designed for high school students, but may be appropriate for mature incoming 8th graders. Exiting seniors are welcome as well.)
