Student Leadership Conference FAQ’s

Local Airports
While APU’s Azusa Campus lies just 26 miles east of Los Angeles, Ontario International Airport (ONT) is the closest airport campus, located approximately 25 minutes away.

The following airports are about an hour from main campus:

Transportation
You will need transportation for your group. Not only will you need to get everyone to and from the airport to APU, but you will also have opportunities for free time to explore Southern California. In addition, we typically have at least one activity that happens off campus and your group will be responsible for your own transportation.

Target Audience
The conference will be designed for high school students, but may be appropriate for mature incoming 8th graders. Exiting seniors are welcome as well.

Meals
Right now the following meals are included in the cost of the conference…Tuesday dinner – Wednesday lunch – Thursday dinner

However, we are working on getting sponsors to cover Wednesday dinner and Thursday lunch which will mean ALL your meals would be covered. What a deal!!

All breakfasts will be included in lodging arrangements.

Lodging
There are a lot of lodging options in the area, but the Radisson has offered us an incredible deal of $89. per night and up to 5 people per room, with Breakfast included!!
